IFTS Organizes Centrifugal Technical Session at AFS Conference and Teaches Liquid Testing at INDA

Pascal Ginisty, Research Manager at IFTS in Agen, France presents at the AFS Fall Conference in Philadelphia, PA.

IFTS, Inc. USA’s President Gerard J. Lynch, P.E. was a speaker at the American Filtration & Separations Society’s (AFS) Fall Conference and the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry’s (INDA) Filtration International Conference & Exposition. Both conferences were held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

At the AFS Fall Conference, IFTS organized a 4-paper session titled “Centrifugal Separation Technology – Lab to Commercialization.” One of the presenters was Pascal Ginisty of IFTS France who gave an overview of centrifugal separation test methods and techniques. Lynch presented a paper about an axial centrifuge-testing program with the US Maritime Administration.

IFTS, Inc. USA also attended INDA’s Conference, which Lynch presented a tutorial titled “Liquid Filter Testing Concepts and Techniques” to a 200+ audience at the Philadelphia Convention Center. The audience comprised of industrial filtration specialists, were introduced to a comprehensive review of liquid filtration testing methods and the standards and equipment used. The course also covered filter test standards for water, fuel, lube oil, hydraulic fluids, particle characteristics and efficiency methods and ratings.
